Personnal Concerned

This training concerns SFI(A) who wants to revalidate or renew their authorization.

Objectives

SFI(A) revalidation or renewal qualification.

Prerequisites

For a revalidation :

To revalidate SFI(A) qualification.

During the period of validity of the qualification, the instructor have to comply with 2 of those 3 requirements :

– 50 hours as an instructor on FSTD (including 15 hours within the last 12 months)

–  A refresher course of instructor as a SFI(A) in an ATO (6 hours)

– An assessment of competences in function of instructor in the FFS

For a renewal:

To renew SFI(A) qualification,  the instructor must complete during the 12 months before the request :

– A refresher course of instructor as a SFI(A) in an ATO

– An assessment of competences in function of instructor in the FFS

– The skill test for the issue of the specific aircraft type ratings representing the types for which privileges are to be renewed, on a FSTD
