CRJ700/900/1000 Type Rating Renewal

According to AMC 1 FCL.740(b), the type rating renewal programme is customised to the trainee profile (flight experience, elapsed time since the end of the validity of the type rating, date of the last flight, …) in order to guarantee safe flight operation of the aircraft type.

An evaluation of the trainee competency is set: Interview and/or ground theoretical systems evaluation and/or FFS evaluation.

Following the evaluation:
it may be possible to pass a proficiency check (appendix 9) without prior training

or

a specific training programme, adjusted to the needs of the applicant, will be issued:

Systems review: 1 or 2 days,
Or/And GFS session(s): 1 or 2 sessions of 2 hours,
Or/And FFS session(s): 1 to 4 sessions of 3 hours.

Depending on the profile, a complete Additional type rating can also be decided.
