SENIOR CABIN CREW MEMBER
Objectives
The Senior Cabin Crew Member training is designed to provide future on-board leaders with effective tools required to operate in their daily roles. Course content focuses on leadership skills and work organisation, to ensure high-performance cabin management (coordination of cabin safety and emergency procedures).
Prerequisites
Trainees must have a minimum of [number] years of experience as a Cabin Flight Attendant (defined by the Airlines).
As per EASA requirement, one year is the minimum required to operate as Purser.
Trainees must hold a Class 1 medical certificate.

TRAINING
Aviation & Awareness of Airline Industries
– Personality Development and basic leadership skills;
– Purser’s responsibilities and duties including SEP, CRM, first aid:
Standard Operating Procedures;
* Safety and Emergency Procedures & Equipment;
* Human factors and Crew Resource Management;
* Practising cabin management including making announcements;
* Training for real-life professional situations (role-playing):
Assessing and managing crew performance
Resolving conflict situations on-board
Writing reports and delivering an effective briefing.
All topics are developed with practical sessions in a mock-up CRJ aircraft, including role-play scenarios and practice of PAs, SEP procedures, and real-life training situations.

ICARE courses can be tailored to airline requirements, enabling specific airline checklists and flight procedures to be used during all training.
ASSESSMENT
– Testing.
Line flying as purser under supervision by airline cabin crew instructor.
– Written multiple-choice test and an overall practical evaluation. Skills required for SCCM are monitored throughout the course.
