EMB-135/145 (RR Corp AE3007A) Type Rating T1+T2
Objectives
This is a mechanics/avionics course according to Part-66 Appendix III, type training and examination standard.
It describes all airframe and power plant systems, sub-systems and components in detail. This includes the operational and functional testing of all systems as well. Furthermore, the operational documentation is used to ensure that the trainee is able to correctly diagnose failures and take the necessary corrective action.
Upon completion of the course, the trainee shall be able to:

Carry out all maintenance tasks on the systems and to the level specified in the relevant regulatory document.

Ensure safe certification of line and/or base maintenance, inspections and routine work in accordance with the maintenance manual and other relevant instructions, and tasks as appropriate for the aircraft type, for example: troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, replacements, operational and functional checks.

Trainees must:

Hold an EASA Part 66 licence B1 or B1/B2, or equivalent

To be able to read, write and communicate at an understandable level in the English language.

TRAINING TIME: 187 HOURS 00 MINUTES: 28 days
– Theoretical training: 145 hours. 22 days
– Practical training: 42 hours: 6 days
Remarks: If the type training is the first one carried out in the category of similar aircraft, the trainee will have to undertake an OJT in a Part 145 organisation.
ASSESSMENT
Theoretical examinations will cover all topics in the theoretical syllabus, with a minimum pass mark of 75%, and a practical assessment will be conducted to evaluate knowledge and skills.
