EWIS Initial Training Target 1
Objectives
Maintenance personnel involved in preserving the airworthiness of heavy aircraft need to improve their basic knowledge and so master the risks directly associated with the Electric Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS). They must be aware that aeroplane EWIS should be maintained with the same level of intensity as any other system on the aircraft.
The trainee should, after the completion of the training:
- Be familiar with technical and regulatory knowledge regarding the safety of wiring systems
- Understand and know these regulations for their application to be easier

This level is submitted to a recurrent course, every two years.
