This training concerns commercial pilots whose CL65 Type Rating has expired and who aim to renew it.

Prerequisites

Trainees must:

Hold a valid class 1 medical,
Hold a CL65 Type Rating which has expired.

Language: French / English (English for course materials). English language proficiency is required.
Location: Morlaix

According to AMC 1 FCL.740(b), the type rating renewal programme is customised to the trainee profile (flight experience, elapsed time since the end of the validity of the type rating, date of the last flight, …) in order to guarantee safe flight operation of the aircraft type.

An evaluation of the trainee competency is set: Interview and/or ground theoretical systems evaluation and/or FFS evaluation.

Following the evaluation:
it may be possible to pass a proficiency check (appendix 9) without prior training.
or

a specific training programme, adjusted to the needs of the applicant, will be issued:
Systems review: 1 or 2 days,
Or/And Graphical flight Simulator (GFS) session(s): 1 or 2 sessions of 2 hours,
Or/And Full Flight Simulator (FFS) session(s): 1 to 4 sessions of 3 hours.

Depending on the profile, a complete Additional type rating can also be decided.

Assessment:

Theoretical knowledge examination if theoretical course. FFS proficiency check.
