Personnal Concerned

This training concerns pilots who wishes to act as TRI(A) (Synthetic Flight Instructor) AIRBUS A320.

Objectives

The aim of this course is to give the necessary assets to the applicant to ensure a sufficient control of theoretical knowledge and various practices adapted to the ground and simulator trainings to be able to assume the privileges of a TRI(A). The applicant receives a training of basic teaching methods, which is implemented during briefings, debriefings, and simulator sessions.

Prerequisites

Any applicant for a first SFI(A) certificate must:

• Hold a valid class 1 medical,
• Hold a CPL, MPL or ATPL pilot license on the applicable aircraft category,
• At least 1 500 hours flight time as a pilot on multi-pilot airplanes, as applicable,
• Have completed, within the 12 months preceding the date of application, 30 route sectors, including take-offs and landings, as PIC or co-pilot on the applicable aeroplane type, CL65, of which 15 sectors may be completed in an FFS representing that type.
