ICARE celebrates its 20th

ICARE, a subsidiary of BRIT AIRbased in Brittany, is the training center for flight crews, maintenance crews, airport crews and companies involved in the airline transportation chain (airports, shippers, freight forwarded, etc…). In 20 years, over 72 000 trainees, representing some 40 nationalities, have used the flight simulators.
200/700 CRJ Simulators qualification certificates

French Authority acknowledges ICARE Quality and Simulatorshigh level, and so, delivers 3 years qualification certificates for our 100/200/700 CRJ and 42/72 ATR simulators.
700/1000 CRJ simulator will be given its first 2 years qualification certificate in next October.
Our 1000 CRJ simulator has been certified “D Level” since September 2011.
Our simulators are qualified by CAAC.
Regulation

According to PART FCL, ICARE TRTO is currently preparing formigration to ATO structure.
According to 185/2010 regulation, ICARE safety instructors will be certified by French Authority soon.
LPO (Language proficiency organization) approval
March 15, 2012
French authority (DGAC) has renewed the LPO approval for a 3 years period.
However, from May 10th, a new regulation is applied to extend for one additional year the validity of the level 4 gained when passing the exam FCL 1.028.
For example, a pilot who had a level 4 with an expiry date at November 30th 2012 is now extended until November 30th 2013.
It is the reason why the LPO ICARE has decided to do a break of few months in order to wait that the pilots approaching their new expiry date.
LPO ICARE has planned a new start in March 2013.
